Cashmere handrails are primed & painted in our facility with a procedure like no other. We use 2 coats (sprayed in 4 different directions) oil base industrial primer by Sampson Coatings Inc. and 4 coats (sprayed in 4 different directions) oil base industrial paint by Bennette's paint & supply co., without the use of thinner at all. Most companys cut cost by mixing more thinner with their paint than usual because it's cheaper than paint and allows them to make their paint supply last longer, but we don't even use thinner! We also saturate the underside of our handrails with paint because thats where water collects and dries causing other railings to rust if only dusted with primer and paint where nobody can see.
